  1. If we abide in Christ, the world will hate us because we do not belong to the world (vv. 18-19).
  1. If we abide in Christ, the world will hate us because of our connection with Christ (v. 20). 
  1. If we abide in Christ, the world will hate us because of its own spiritual blindness (v. 21)….
